This year’s Christmas Social, will take place on Wednesday 14th December from 7.30. Society Members will already have received details by email. The deadline is 25th November, but you can also sign up at our regular meeting tonight.

There will be a light-hearted quiz, to be done at the tables, including pictures and some questions on a seasonal theme. You can do this either individually or in teams. Raffle tickets will be sold and there will be a good choice of prizes to be won.

Main course

Supper will offer a choice of dishes, which you can choose on the night:

• Chicken in a white wine and tarragon sauce

• Hotpot and red cabbage

• Mushroom Stroganoff (suitable for vegetarians and those with coeliac/gluten intolerance)

All served with fresh local vegetables or rice

Dessert

• Fresh Fruit Pavlova

• Chocolate Roulade

• Apple Pie       

•  Fresh fruit salad

 After the main meal there will be coffee and mince pies

The cost person will be £22 per person which includes your first glass of wine/soft drink.
